Because of their constant fear of rape (conscious or not), women do things throughout the day to protect themselves. Whether it’s carrying our keys in our hands as we walk home, locking our car doors as soon as we get in, or not walking down certain streets, we take precautions … The fact that certain things women do are so ingrained into our daily routines is truly disturbing. It’s essentially like living in a prison — all the time.

Fat people who love themselves scare the shit out of people who don’t love themselves. Even fat people who are TRYING to love themselves scare the shit out of people who can’t do the same. We force people to have to look at why they hate their bodies because we are “supposed” to hate ours and we don’t. And sometimes they have no idea what to do with that, so they act like assholes.

There.

Religious pseudo-scientific claptrap is no match for logic and reason.

Oh, I like this one.

Broccoli makes everything better.

Excellent. Yes.

A+

Truly inspired common sense.

A few weeks ago I was walking down the sidewalk beside the busiest street in my city.  I have to do this in order to get to the grocery store.  I was wearing a t-shirt and jeans and tennis shoes (not that it should matter, but since people think it does I thought I would point out that this happened even though I was wearing some of the least provocative clothing known to this part of the universe.) I was wearing my headphones and did not notice the catcalls that I found out later were being tossed my way.  (Partly I wear my headphones so I don’t notice them.) A jogger came up behind me and grabbed my shoulders and screamed loudly.  Of course, I responded.  Out of complete surprise and fear I pushed him and unfortunately the side of me he was on combined with the push from me caused him to land out in the traffic of the highway.  He was okay and so were the people who had to suddenly stop.  This could have been a much uglier scene than it was and I’m grateful it wasn’t.  I am grateful he was okay and that all the other people involved were too.  What gets to me though is that after it was all over he smiled at me and asked me for a date. (I walked away.)  He got to be so sure of himself and the situation even though he could have died because he knew that if something had happened I would have been the one who was blamed because I “overreacted” to someone invading my personal space and grabbing hold of me while being extremely loud and after following me for awhile.  He was trying to elicit a fear reaction and received one.

Some women wear extremely provocative clothing. It sounds to me like they want attention. On that note I’ve never seen a man do anything else than stare like an idiot. So really. Women, stop distracting men. We’re trying to build shit.

Oh I’m sorry I forgot everyone was straight.
I don’t dress “provocatively” for men. Or to get attention (even if women do, that doesn’t validate being harassed and made to feel uncomfortable or threatened for walking down the fucking road). I dress half-naked because that’s how I’M most comfortable. Surpisingly enough, the decisions I make about what attire I wear on a daily basis don’t revolve around men or you. Get over yourself.
And when I do dress for attention, it’s for the attention of my girlfriend. Do one you sexist pervert.

lol u mad?

U single?
